MOVET Solid Steel Machine Feet – maximum stability for extreme industrial loads
With their solid construction, MOVET solid steel feet offer outstanding stability for machines subjected to high loads. Designed for use in demanding environments, they are exceptionally durable and resist intense mechanical stress. These heavy-duty machine feet provide a reliable foundation for production lines, machining centres, presses and automation systems.
Solid build quality for maximum strength and reliability
MOVET’s massive machine feet are machined from high-quality steel and engineered for long-term stability. Their solid, compact base distributes weight evenly, preventing floor damage and improving machine balance. The rigid design makes them ideal for use with heavy equipment and systems operating under constant load.
Height-adjustable and load-resistant – precision at every level
Despite their heavy-duty design, MOVET solid machine feet are height-adjustable via a robust spindle. Available in thread sizes such as M24, M30, M36 and M41, these feet allow exact machine positioning – even on uneven floors. The result: safe, level equipment setups that remain stable even under dynamic loads.
High-strength steel spindles – built to perform under pressure
Each massive foot is equipped with a precision-machined steel spindle, designed to support extreme forces without deformation. These machine feet for high loads are suitable for continuous industrial use and high-impact processes, offering long service life and reliable mechanical integrity.
Wide solid base plates – effective load distribution
MOVET offers massive steel feet with large-diameter base plates for maximum ground contact and improved load-bearing capability. The solid base ensures effective weight distribution, helping to prevent tilting and reducing surface pressure – ideal for sensitive or coated flooring.

Selecting Solid Steel Levelling Feet by Design
Solid steel levelling feet are available in different designs for stationary machinery, frames and production equipment. In addition to standard adjustable feet, the range includes versions with black NBR pads, floor-mounting holes and articulated spindles. The appropriate design depends on the floor conditions, lateral forces and required compensation angle.
| Design | Construction feature | Typical selection criteria |
|---|---|---|
| Without anti-slip pad | Solid base plate positioned directly on the supporting surface | Firm, level floors and mechanically secured machine installations |
| With black NBR pad | Elastic contact layer helps improve grip on smooth floors | Machinery where unwanted lateral movement should be reduced |
| With floor mounting | One or two holes allow the base plate to be anchored | Stationary equipment exposed to lateral forces, movement or defined fixing requirements |
| With articulated spindle | Model-dependent compensation angles of up to 30° | Uneven or inclined installation surfaces |
Current variants include spindle threads from M8 to M30, spindle lengths from 25 to 250 mm and a wide selection of base diameters. The static load capacity, number of support points, installation height and available threaded connection should also be checked before selecting a levelling foot.
Considering Load Capacity and Weight Distribution
The permissible load of a solid steel levelling foot is product-specific and depends on factors such as the spindle size, base diameter, articulated joint and installation conditions. Individual MOVET designs provide static load capacities of several tens of thousands of newtons, making them suitable for heavy machine tools, production equipment and industrial machine frames.
The total machine weight should not simply be divided by the number of levelling feet. The centre of gravity, uneven weight distribution, changing operating loads and dynamic or impact forces may place substantially higher loads on individual support points. An appropriate safety margin should therefore be included when selecting the feet.
A larger base plate distributes the load over a wider floor area and can help reduce surface pressure. Designs with mounting holes are suitable where lateral forces or machine movements require additional anchoring. Further solutions are available under heavy-duty machine feet .
A black NBR pad is primarily intended to improve grip between the foot and the floor. For the targeted reduction of vibration and structure-borne noise, use purpose-designed anti-vibration levelling feet .
