When are custom seals the right solution?

Dimensions
Inner and outer diameters, installation space and tolerances must match the application precisely.
Material
Depending on the medium, materials such as NBR, EPDM, FKM, silicone or engineering plastics are used.
Pressure & Temperature
Seals must reliably withstand pressure loads and demanding temperature ranges.
Medium
Resistance to oils, greases, chemicals, acids or gases is essential for long service life.
Movement
Depending on the application, static, dynamic or rotary sealing solutions may be required.
Hygienic Requirements
Food-grade and 3-A compliant sealing solutions are available for hygiene-sensitive applications.
