What are levelling feet?

Levelling feet are support elements that serve the safe, stable and vibration-free assembly of machines. They are typically provided with footplates in different sizes and have a threaded spindle. This is used for simple levelling, i.e. aligning the machine in height. Simple levelling feet can be adjusted in height. Articulated feet also have the option of adjusting the angle of inclination of the machine to the corresponding conditions. Feet can be screwed either with mounting brackets or directly onto the installation surface.

Why are levelling feet needed?

For a machine to work precisely, careful alignment is essential. Especially when machines are mounted directly on the hall floor, height differences can hardly be avoided. Levelling feet can be used to compensate for unevenness quickly and permanently. Most support elements are equipped with anti-slip plates on the underside. This prevents the machine from accidentally slipping away during operation. Last but not least, levelling feet also serve to prevent the transmission of vibrations. Many machines, for example saws, drills or milling machines, cause vibrations during operation. Adjustable feet absorb these and thus enable quiet working.

How to choose the right adjustable feet?

MOVET levelling feet come in different sizes. The larger the diameter of the spindle, the more load the foot can take. And the larger the footprint, the more secure the stand. It is also important to clarify in advance what material the adjustable feet should be made of. In a workshop, production or hobby cellar, galvanised steel is sufficient. In damp or hygienically demanding environments, you should always choose adjustable feet made of stainless steel (VA). For uneven floors, articulated feet with an angle of inclination are advantageous. If the machine is to be mounted on particularly slippery floors, you should choose feet with an anti-slip coating made of NBR or EPDM. For machines that vibrate particularly strongly, adjustable feet with an anti-vibration structure are suitable.

Quality that pays off

Adjustable elements are exposed to high loads in everyday work. The levelling feet should not only reliably support the machine's own weight, but also withstand the forces acting on it. Precision, vibration damping and safety are the focus of attention when dealing with machines. Therefore, careful material selection and precise manufacturing are essential. The adjustable feet offered by MOVET reliably meet the requirements placed on the elements. Durability, careful manufacturing and comprehensive service are part of MOVET's philosophy right from the start.

Stainless steel levelling feet

Stainless steel levelling feet are used in environments where hygiene plays a major role. Stainless steel is an extremely hygienic, corrosion-resistant, durable and temperature-resistant material. Due to a thin passive layer on the surface, stainless steel does not require any surface protection. It is also suitable for environments with increased humidity. Stainless steel machine feet are often used in medical technology, the food industry or in clean rooms.

Levelling elements

Levelling elements are used to level the floor of machines, systems and units. The special design of the levelling support elements effectively absorbs vibrations and thus reliably protects neighbouring machines from external vibrations. Levelling feet also enable the assembly of machines and systems on uneven surfaces. Thanks to their simple adjustability, levellable setting elements compensate for slight unevenness.

Levelling feet Shop

In the MOVET Levelling Feet Shop you will find the most common adjustable feet for your needs. These include classic support elements such as TEKNOCLEAN adjustable feet made of stainless steel. We also stock articulated feet with different diameters and optimised adjustable feet for vibration damping. Most of the adjustable feet offered in the shop have a robust, durable anti-slip coating. This ensures lasting stability even on smooth surfaces. Also available in the shop are impact plugs with threads made of stainless steel (VA) or brass. The matching accessories for the adjustable feet are also part of the extensive range in the MOVET machine feet shop.
