Conveyor chains made of plastic: The robust choice

We rely on selected high-performance plastics for our straight-running and curved conveyor and transport chains made of plastic. Depending on the area of application, conveyor chains made of very dimensionally stable, abrasion-resistant and impact-resistant polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), POM or PP are available. Polyoxymethylene (POM) is a plastic characterised by high strength, rigidity and hardness. The plastic is ideally suited for conveyor chains because it is extremely wear-resistant and has a low coefficient of friction. PP (polypropylene) is probably the most widely used plastic, which is particularly convincing due to its favourable price.
